Music
Music and song have been central to the life of St Brigid’s Parish since its earliest days. Our choirs have sung with symphony orchestras, performed the great Gregorian and polyphonic Mass settings, and even featured in weekly live broadcasts on the ABC landline.
Parish Choir
The Parish Choir is a dedicated group of adults and teens who lead and enrich our liturgy through music. They minister at weekend Masses, feast days, and seasonal celebrations, serving as a choral ensemble within the gathered assembly.
Membership is open to all, regardless of musical background or ability. What matters most is a love for music and a desire to support the parish in prayer. Regular attendance at rehearsals is expected, as commitment is key to the choir’s ministry.
Instrumentalists
If you currently play—or have played—an instrument, we warmly invite you to consider sharing your talent with the parish. You might contribute on an occasional or seasonal basis. Perfection is not required; what matters is your willingness to enrich our prayer with the sounds of strings, brass, woodwinds, or other instruments.
We will work with you to find a place where your gifts can serve both the parish and the liturgy, bringing joy to the community and personal fulfilment to you.
