Liturgical Ministries
Serving in a liturgical ministry is a beautiful way to share your gifts and take an active part in our parish worship. Training and support are provided for all ministries, and schedules are arranged on a rotating basis to suit availability.

Altar Servers / Acolytes
Altar servers and acolytes assist the priest or deacon during Mass and other liturgical celebrations.
This ministry is open to parish youth from Year 4 (Grade 4) and above. Training is provided, and commitment is based on the weekend roster.
Lector Ministry
Lectors proclaim the Word of God at our parish liturgies. Through prayerful preparation and clear proclamation, lectors help the community to hear and be nourished by the Scriptures. Training is provided, and ministers serve on a rotating schedule.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. This ministry is a special way of serving the parish community by sharing in Christ’s presence at the Eucharistic table. Training is provided, with ministers scheduled on rotation.
Altar Society
The Altar Society cares for the sacred linens and sanctuary. Responsibilities include the regular laundering of altar cloths and purificators, as well as preparing the sanctuary for liturgical seasons. This quiet but essential ministry helps ensure our worship space is reverent and welcoming.
